It is now more than 140 years since Bauder first began making roofing products. From our
former premises in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, the company has expanded to the stage where over
the last three decades it has added four highly productive factories equipped with the most
modern production technology. Here is where we manufacture innovative products which are
constantly setting new standards in our specialized fields of sloping roofs,
flat roofs, green roofs and technical insulating materials.
Today Bauder is one of the most important companies in the industry, making high technology
materials for waterproofing, insulating, greening systems and technical insulating products.
For example, in Germany we have grown into the second largest manufacturer
of bituminous waterproofing and polyurethane insulating materials and are now the third
largest in Europe. We also have international subsidiaries and marketing companies in
Austria, Switzerland, the U.K., Poland and Hungary.
We have over 600 dedicated employees committed to servicing our customers
and more than seventy of whom are qualified on-site technical advisors. All of them are proud
of working for Bauder and for our customers, whether on the technical, commercial, industrial
or planning side.
